A 16th century lord wakes up in the 21st century and is dismayed when he finds out that his village has been overrun by college students. His opinion of the modern world changes when he meets a history professor who has written a book about him. Director's Statement: As soon as I found out I’d have the opportunity to make a film in the small village of Lacoste, France, I began to eagerly write a script. The primary location I could find information about in the town was the “Château de Lacoste,” so I based the film around that spot. I love fantasy romcoms, so I decided to write a film about a pompous, confused 16th century lord finding love with a knowledgable college history professor. Bringing it to life with its talented cast and crew was such a joyful experience and I learned so much from writing and directing this project. I hope this film brings laughter to those who need it, as well as a sense of hope that love can be found even in the wildest of situations.

The newly hired storekeep stands his ground against a gang of sugar fueled hooligans in a comedic spin on the modern-day western. Created as part of the 72-Hour Adrenaline Film Festival. Screened for an audience of over 600 people. 6 votes away from winning $1000 audience award.
