ELINOR GLASSCO

Ever since I first began creating films, my love for storytelling through visual media has grown. I’ve worked on many projects including competition pieces, informational short films, and public service announcements for local television channels. I have a passion for telling engaging and inspiring stories and I hope to continue collaborating with others to create polished films that can empower and inspire future generations.

Director's Statement: As soon as I found out I’d have the opportunity to make a film in the small village of Lacoste, France, I began to eagerly write a script. The primary location I could find information about in the town was the “Château de Lacoste,” so I based the film around that spot. I love fantasy romcoms, so I decided to write a film about a pompous, confused 16th century lord finding love with a knowledgable college history professor. Bringing it to life with its talented cast and crew was such a joyful experience and I learned so much from writing and directing this project. I hope this film brings laughter to those who need it, as well as a sense of hope that love can be found even in the wildest of situations.
